Kavalan Distillery, located in Yilan County, Taiwan, is a subsidiary of the King Car Enterprises Group and is renowned for its single malt whisky, with its "Kavalan" brand sold globally. The distillery was named "Whisky Visitor Destination of the Year" by Whisky Magazine in 2011 and has received numerous accolades. In 2012, its Solist Fino Sherry Cask Malt Whisky was named Whisky of the Year, and in 2015, Vinho Barrique was named "World's Best Single Malt Whisky."
